With summer right around the corner, a nude anything is a MUST. I am talking shoes, tops, lipgloss, home decor, you name it, I love it. There is no better color to ring in the spring time, and let me tell you, I can’t get enough of it.

If you were to take a peek in my closet, you would see TONS of nude colored items. It has become a staple, like no joke…I just gravitate towards it. First and foremost, you know how much I love a good nude shoe, especially a good heel/pump.. they go with anything, black jeans, denim, white jeans, honestly ANY color, and it just looks classic and effortless. And make those legs go on F O R E V E R.

Neutral tops, like a leather jackets or even a good blouse always adds to that beautiful tan skin you’ve gotten from that beach trip. We all love our tan kissed skin, so why not wear a color that helps show it off? Best of both worlds. I think so.

Not only am I talking shoes, but nude jewelry is also a favorite! All white with a splash of nature, like the perfect set of Omi Beads, or even some wood accessories, YES PLEASE. With that beautiful tan skin, a good neutral adds to that perfect summer outfit.

Nude lipgloss is ALWAYS the way to go, especially with summer upon us. Nude adds some shine without being too bold.. Sadly, my mini Bobbi Brown glosses are no longer available, Man those were perfect. No matter what, the thing to note about nude color is that you have to pick the perfect nude for your skin tone, no matter if it is shoes or lipgloss, that perfect color for you is SUPER important. The beautiful and most useful thing about is that, especially with shoes, it elongates your leg and gives them the illusion of going on forever. You don't want to cut yourself off at the ankle. That looks good on no one. I don't care how tall and sculpted those gams are. So choose wisely. There are so many shades out there. Hues spanning from the barely-there to almost caramel!

A NEUTRAL HOME

Now, the other exciting part about spring time is it can be an excuse to do some fun HomeGoods or World Market refreshing. Even better, you can get 30% off home office and living room furniture until next week at World Market by using code (SAVE30) Whoop Whoop! I love all white decor, but adding a bit of nude or wood or woven material is a great way to bring the outdoors in.

When it comes to adding neutrals, a good pillow or accent piece can make all the difference. I love the look of crisp, light and bright, and adding texture in with some wood tones is my favorite. White can often come across very sterile, and not very lived-in, so bringing in those elements make it more cozy and inviting. I like to add in a little something, like a woven rug, baskets, wood bowls, cutting boards. Even if it’s a white container in your kitchen…add some wooden spoons and viola! You did it. That easy.

My love for a nude tone in the spring/summer is just about my love for this season in general, and as a Florida girl, that says A LOT. I truly believe investing in some nude pieces is something you will never regret, and is timeless.. So go find your shade, girlfriend.
