SPRING BREAK EDITION: SWIMWEAR + COVER UPS
If you are like me, you are walking into Target wondering how the heck swimsuits are already being displayed? And Easter candy? It was just Valentine’s Day?!?! I know the word swim suit + candy don’t really go together, but either way they both are here and always will be waiting for us each season.
I absolutely LOVE one pieces, and I am so glad they are back and here to stay. There are now so many options…you can get a fully covered one or maybe you want to be a little on the sexy side and have a cut out or two? Girl, do you? You’ll be seeing me rockin’ this one, check out the back, hubba hubba and this one too, love the mesh detail.

Now, you know me…I love sticking with a classic black. But, I sometimes get out of my comfort zone and try a little color. It’s just…I really love a classic and the longevity and versatility of it. Think about it, black goes with EVERYTHING and it’s slimming.
For two pieces, I let myself have a little more fun with colors. Such as a classic black bandeau piece with a solid colored or patterned bottom. I always go for a bandeau top because you never know what the evening plans will bring. With a bandeau, you guaranteed no bad tan lines. Although, it’s vacay, so who gives?
Spring Break brings my favorite item of summer clothing…cover ups! Which for me, become an outfit on most trips, so choose wisely and make sure to have a few that will appropriately take you into lunch. Cause you know, heading up to the room to change isn’t always an option. Side note, when I’m home…I am guilty of wearing a cover up to the grocery store even when I have not made my way to the store. They are just so dang cute these days and with the right one, super versatile!
