GIFTS FOR YOUR HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTEST
We are about to embark on the holiday hosting season and that means we are all going to be on the hunt for hostess gifts for all of the hostesses in our lives. Today I want to share just a couple of tips that will help you when you are selecting your hostess gift. These are just a few things I think about when I am trying to decide what to get my favorite hostesses.
Dry Shampoo | Towel | Water Bottle
I think it is easy to get stumped when it comes to hostess gifts and fall into the trap of just grabbing a bottle of wine and calling it a day. Not that I would ever turn my nose up at a bottle of wine...or tequila in my case. That actually brings me to one of my best pieces of advice when it comes to hostess gifts. It may seem obvious, but think about what the hostess actually enjoys and try to pick a gift that reflects that. If your hostess is a champagne lover, then buy her one of her favorite bottles and pair it with this pretty champagne opener. If they always serve a cheese board whenever they entertain, like I do, then pick up a pretty set of cheese knives to give them. And by all means, if they love wine, then get them their favorite bottle, wrap it in a pretty wine bag (or hand towel), pair it with some cute wine glasses, and call it a day like I did.

My next piece of advice is to think outside the box when it comes to your hostess gift. Just because you are going to a party doesn't mean you have to get them a gift that relates to entertaining. This goes back to tip number one, think about your hostess and what they truly enjoy. I was pursuing the holiday gift section at my local Nordstrom and I came up with some of the cutest hostess gifts while I was there. The best part is that Nordstrom's gift selection is so good, I was able to shop for all the hostess gifts I will need for the whole day in one hour at one store. With the crazy schedule that we all keep during the holiday season, that convenience is absolutely crucial. If you are in a time crunch, Nordstrom also has a ship to store feature, so you don't have to deal with the holiday crowds, you can just buy it online and then run into the store to pick it up.
My final tip is to add a little something special to your package. I absolutely love wrapping gifts and my signature move is to add a special touch when I am wrapping. Whether that is just adding a little sprig of greenery or in the case of these gifts, pretty ornaments, it really does make a big impact.
If you are a hostess that is having me over during the holidays, then please avert your eyes because I am about to share all of the hostess gifts I picked up for the season. I have also linked some other awesome options from Nordstrom for you to check out too.
