Hello friends! Back for another Q+A series. Again, I'm loving this, so keep the questions coming! This weeks questions were all across the board. But the BURNING QUESTION and has been for quite sometime is, WHERE DID YOU GET THAT TINY GOLD CIRCLE NECKLACE YOU WEAR ALL THE TIME? Let me answer that for ya.... and a few others. Keep scrolling down.

WHERE'D YOU GET THAT NECKLACE?

Ok, funny story. I bought this necklace at Forever 21 for $4.99 about 7 years ago. I wore it and never took it off until my neck turned green. I hated to part with it, but it was looking rough. It wasn't even 'gold' anymore. It sat on my dresser for a while and I'd always glance at it. I really loved it. The way it laid on my neck. How it easy it was to layer with. The daintiness of it. ALL OF IT. So one day I decided to take it to my local jeweler and see if they could replicate it. They did!! I haven't taken it off since. No joke. You've probably never seen me without it. As a matter of fact, I had one made for my mom + sister and friend. It really is the perfect piece.

Now, how can you get one? I've been working on this for a while and guess what.......It's all in the works and hoping to have a launch date before the holidays. And It sounds like a lot of you would love to add it on your list. I'm so EXCITED to be creating this for you! And you'll DIE when I tell you who's making it for me. I'm pretty darn sure that most, if not all of you, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE who wears her pieces currently. It's gonna be fab, a great price point and JUST LIKE MINE! So, do me a favor and please COMMENT below if you'd love one. Trying to gauge production and I don't want anyone to be disappointed if they sell out quickly. YAY!

WHAT LIPSTICK DO YOU WEAR?

I really need to be better about wearing lipstick. Actually I'm good when I put my makeup on, but terrible about touching it up. To be honest, I'm kinda a chapstick girl. I love me some EOS and my go-to flavor is Sweet Mint . Now that......I'm constantly putting on. I rotate between a few colors and brands. I don't know one girl that sticks to the same shade, and most of my 'lip colors' are a combo of different colors on top of one another. One lipstick I've been crushing on lately is Pleats Please by Therapy Systems. It's a coral color, which is not typically me, but something about it made me say yes to the lady behind the counter at The Cosmetic Market. It goes on more sheer than it looks in the tube and has great staying power. Maybe that's why I like it so much and haven't moved on. I don't stop there. Then I layer it with Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie Gloss switching back and forth between two shades {Smooth Talker + Trail Blazer} Oh, yeah and don't forget the liner. I always stay super neutral. I don't care for a defined lip. I like it to blend with my lip color. I also never got on the matte bandwagon, not to say I won't try it, but I still prefer a little shine on my lips.  Here's what's currently on my lips...

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THIS WEDDING?

I've gotten this question quite a bit and with the holidays coming, no better time to answer. Tis the season of getting dressed up. I love weddings. For me it's a time to really dress up and share an evening with my main squeeze. This time of year it's about rich hues, texture and dark colors. Of course a LBD is always a safe choice. You'll see below that I'm kinda crushing HARD on a bell sleeve + great shoulder and good cut out. I say have FUN with it. There's only one thing to remember when looking for a dress, you want to look great and stylish, but not distract from the beautiful bride. Also let the wording on the invitation help you decide and of course the time of year.

I'd say there are really only two rules....

ONE: Never, ever, ever wear white. That means all wedding festivities, engagement party, bridal shower and rehearsal dinner. The only exception would be an all-white dress code.

TWO: It's better to be overdressed, than underdressed. If the invite says Black Tie err on the side of caution and wear a long dress. Like our moms always said, better safe than sorry.

These are my picks for your next wedding, but most certainly would be perfect for all those holiday parties upon us. I've also listed a few below from Rent The Runway. Have you done that yet? It's awesome. You basically select a dress in your size, they send it to you and it's yours to love for those 4 days, and then you send it back. That easy. I like doing that when I'm not real certain I'd wear a dress like that again, or it's super fancy and I could never pull the trigger on a dress with that kind of price tag for one night. It's another option for ya. I try to look out for my girls.
