MY GRANDMOTHER'S PEPPERMINT FUDGE

WHAT YOU’LL NEED


  • 3 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk

  • non stick cooking spray

  • 3 crushed candy canes


WHAT TO DO


  1. Line a 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. Spray with cooking spray.

  2. Place unwrapped candy canes into a zip top bag and crush with a rolling pin, leaving some different size pieces.

  3. In a saucepan over low heat combine chocolate chips and condensed milk, stir until melted and smooth.

  4. Pour into pan and evenly spread.

  5. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes and place in fridge for 2 hours to chill.

  6. Remove fudge by lifting parchment paper from pan. Peel away paper and cut into bite size pieces.
