BAKED CRANBERRY + BRIE

WHAT YOU’LL NEED


  • 1 cup fresh cranberries

  • 6 Tbs light brown sugar

  • 1 orange- 1 tbs fresh juice + zest

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

  • 15 oz round brie cheese

  • 1 egg beaten

  • 1 cup pecan pieces

  • 1 cup dried cranberries

  • crackers + bread for serving


WHAT TO DO


  1. In a saucepan mix cranberries, sugar, orange juice and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes or until cranberries have popped an mix together.

  2. Preheat oven to 425°F, slice off the top rind of the brie and set to the side

  3. Unroll your puff pastry and put your cranberry mixture in the center, then place brie on top

  4. Cut + fold over corners of the puff pastry to the shape of the brie

  5. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes until the pastry is golden brown
